September 8, 2015

The College of eLearning & Extended Education invites people interested in teaching an Extended Education and/or Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) course during spring 2016 to submit a proposal by October 16, 2015.

We seek to offer courses that meet community interest in creative arts; language and culture; the sciences; technology; and professional skills development in order to provide diverse learners with opportunities to achieve their academic, personal and professional goals. Extension courses may be offered anytime between January 4 and May 31. OLLI courses may be held between Feb. 1 and May 27. All courses can be held on or off-campus.

Teaching an Extended Education or OLLI course can support you to:

  • Have a venue to share your research, publications and activities
  • Share your expertise and passion in a flexible format
  • Meet the ‘Community Service’ criteria for RTP
  • Reach diverse learners including students of all ages and working professionals
  • Build relationships between the campus and community

New course offerings are welcome! Course proposal forms and instructions can be found here:
