CSUPERB Call for Teams - S'15 NSF-Funded CSU I-Corps
November 5, 2014
Dear Colleagues:
CSUPERB is pleased to issue the Call for Teams for the Spring 2015 CSU I-Corps™ Cohort.
Teams must be formed before the Spring 2015 application deadline (Monday, February 16).
CSU I-Corps™ is funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) to help scientists and engineers learn how to identify useful biological science product concepts derived from academic research. CSU I-Corps™ allows curious researchers and nascent entrepreneurs to get feedback from customers and advisors to better assess their biotechnology idea’s maturity, product-market fit, and follow-on funding strategies. By completing the CSU I-Corps™ curriculum, PIs become eligible for funding via NSF's I-Corps Team program.
The Spring 2015 CSU I-Corps™ call is for Faculty-led Teams.
Teams will involve a tenured/tenure-track CSU faculty researcher (or principal investigator, PI), an entrepreneurial lead (EL; usually CSU student, postdoc or staff) and an industry mentor (IM).
You can find more information about the Spring 2015 Call for Teams here:
Feel free to forward this email on to interested colleagues! Please contact me or call the program office (619-594-2822) for more information.
