DO YOU USE LASTPASS TO MANAGE YOUR PASSWORDS?

June 16, 2015
If so, and you have not already changed your master password, you are strongly advised to do so.
Last Friday, the company discovered an attempt to hack their network; while the attack did not penetrate the encrypted vault where users' password lists are stored, there was evidence that email addresses, password reminders, and other account-specific data may have been compromised. If you use the same password as your LastPass master password on any other site, you should also change that password.
As an additional precaution, LastPass is also requiring all users logging in from a new device or IP address to first verify their account by email unless they have multifactor authentication enabled.
