The College of eLearning and Extended Education is seeking proposals from faculty interested in being part of the Spring 2014 Faculty Learning Community on Mobile Learning.

The Goal of the FLC on Mobile Learning is to create a fun and safe environment in which faculty can collaboratively explore, apply and share mobile technologies and pedagogies to enhance student learning.

Faculty Incentives

• Free technology tool to keep (iPad or Surface Tablet)

• Supports the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (inquiry/exploration into student learning, application, peer review, reflection, and presentation of findings)

• Multi-disciplinary exploration and collaboration

• Snacks

• Letter for faculty file

Commitment:

• 5 face-to-face, 1-hour sessions (2 in February, 1 in March, 2 in April)

• Create, implement, and share a mobile learning lesson during Spring 14

• Share mobile learning lesson and outcomes during professional development event Fall 14 (as group or as individual)
