Faculty/Staff Wellbeing Ambassador 2018 Spring Trainings

March 5, 2018

The Faculty/Staff Wellbeing Ambassador Program is a new offering from Student Health and Wellbeing Services at Humboldt State University. Partially funded by a Federal SAMHSA Garret Lee Smith Grant, the Faculty/Staff Wellbeing Ambassadors are an integral part of the HSU Campus Connect Support Network which is aimed at understanding and addressing the disparities around physical and mental health that Humboldt State Students face.

Selected staff and faculty members serve as beacons to guide colleagues in their area to vital health and wellbeing resources available to students. Each year they are offered special training opportunities each semester to ensure they are supported in this role.
