February 2017 SkillShops

February 17, 2017

This month there are dozens of SkillShops offered on a variety of academic, professional and personal topics. This month we have a few new SkillShops, including It's About Time! Tips & Strategies for Managing Your Time Effectively, Creating Flyers that are Quick, Easy and Effective and Fear Not the Semicolon: Making Punctuation Work for You. What SkillShop will you attend this semester?

SkillShops are 50 minute drop-in workshops that introduce or develop skills in one of five areas:

  • College and Study Skills

  • Technology and Digital Media

  • Leadership and Career

  • Personal Growth

  • Finding and Using Information

You are welcome to register and attend SkillShops or encourage your students to attend. Facilitators of SkillShops encourage discovery, social connection, and supportive learning environments for everyone.

The fully updated online calendar for upcoming SkillShops can be found here and a printable copy of the current schedule is available here and attached.  Please print, share, and post.
