General Faculty Election

A General Faculty election will be held the week of October 7 to elect two HSU faculty members to serve on the Advisory Committee to the Trustees Committee for the Selection of the President (ACTCSP). The voting period will be from Monday, October 7 through Wednesday, October 9, at noon. If a runoff election is needed, it will begin on Thursday, October 10 and run through Friday, October 11, 5:00 pm.

Please note:  The two positions on the ballot are representatives of the entire HSU faculty, including all colleges and units.      

The ACTCSP is composed of the Chair of the (local) campus senate, two faculty representatives selected by the faculty, one member of the campus support staff selected by the staff, one student selected by the duly constituted representatives of the campus student body, one member of the campus Advisory Board selected by that board, one alumnus/alumna of the campus selected by the campus Alumni Association, and one Vice President or academic Dean from the campus, and the President of another CSU campus selected by the Chancellor. You are receiving this email because you are eligible to vote in the current General Faculty Election for two HSU faculty representatives to serve on the Advisory Committee to the Trustees Committee for the Selection of the President. (see website for more information)

Your electronic ballot is available through Account Center. Click on the link, or go to the HSU home page, Quick Links, and scroll down to Tools --> Account Center. Once you login to Account Center, you will find your ballot (called a survey) listed as: 2013 GFE Fall Faculty Election.

The voting period is Monday, Oct. 7, 8:00 am through Wednesday, Oct. 9, 12:00 pm (Noon). You may vote at any time and from anywhere you have access to Account Center.

If a runoff election is necessary, it will be held with the voting period from Thursday, Oct. 10 8:00 am through Friday, Oct. 11, 5:00 pm.
