Have You Made the Move to Canvas Yet?

December 15, 2016

Starting in January, Canvas will be front and center on myHumboldt, with access links and a dedicated pagelet for easy access to Spring courses for faculty, staff, and students. We're also putting the finishing touches to the new canvas.humboldt.edu web platform, so we're ready whenever you are! If you haven't yet begun the move to Canvas, you can request your Spring courses here: apex.humboldt.edu/ords/f?p=115:4:::::: - remember that student enrollment in Spring 2017 Canvas courses will take place one week before the start of the semester. You can also get ahead of the curve by using this link to start developing content for Summer or Fall 2017 courses.

See Tuesday's email from Provost Enyedi with the subject line Dive in to Canvas! for more on getting up and running with Canvas.

Need some training first?
If you feel you need more time to get comfortable with Canvas, we have plenty of training opportunities for you. Training for faculty is available now - check out the Canvas training calendar at humboldt.edu/canvas. Online resources can be accessed any time; hands-on training is available through December 16, and will start again in January. To accommodate everyone, we will continue to support courses in Moodle as well as Canvas during the Spring 2017 semester.
