Have your say in the Moodle update process

August 14, 2015

Faculty input is an important part of the LMS development process, so ITS is looking to reactivate and revitalize the Moodle Users Group, (MUG) with new faces and ideas.

By participating in MUG, faculty can get involved in evaluating the themes, plug-ins, and blocks that are added. They will also have the opportunity to test drive new features before they’re made available to the campus. Most activities are online via the MUG Forum, with just a quarterly physical meeting to share input and ideas, so it won’t take a lot of your time, but the benefits could be significant.

We’re looking for15-20 people with a range of different usage types and experience levels. To volunteer yourself or suggest a colleague for membership, please send an email to William.bateman@humboldt.edu.

Rather than relying on the same people time and again, we’d really like to see some new faces around the table at the first meeting, expected to take place in mid-September.

See you then!
