This week, the Office of Philanthropy is offering two classes on how to raise money and work with donors. Who should attend? You! Whether it’s helping out with a community fundraiser or asking for a large gift to support your department, these classes will be a valuable resource for anyone interested in the basics of fundraising.

Are you looking for funding for a project? Do you know how to develop donor relationships that will lead to significant charitable support for your project? This session is an introduction to discovering major donors.

Kimberley Pittman-Schulz, HSU's Executive Director of Philanthropy, will share the value of involving major donors in your work, then show you how to connect with potential major donors, determine whether they could be significant givers, and develop mutually beneficial donor partnerships.  Register Here

Don’t forget to turn in your HSU Cares Gift form! Your HSU Cares forms go to Gift Processing (SBS 285) with your on-campus gift designation. You can also click here to make your gift online.

If you would like to give through payroll deduction to an off campus charity, we have your state employees “Our Promise” campaign form in NHW 201. This form is also used to update existing “Our Promise” deductions.
