Humboldt State University Emergency Management Program is dedicated to providing students, staff, and faculty ways to get prepared, options for responding to emergencies, and information on campus emergency preparedness events. This site will be used to alert the campus of upcoming events like fire drills, disaster preparedness classes, The Great California ShakeOut, HSU CERT training, Red Cross classes and/or events, and general emergency preparedness resources.
This site will serve only as a SECONDARY outreach method for Emergency Notifications and should not be solely used as a notification source.
Currently, HSU uses three main sources for emergency notification to the HSU community: The HSU Homepage (www.humboldt.edu/emergency); 826-INFO (4636),and KHSU 90.5 FM Radio. Access those primary sources to get up-to-date information in the event of a campus-wide emergency alert.
