Humboldt Loyalty Grant Submission Guidelines 2016-17

December 21, 2016

Thanks to the generosity of thousands of Humboldt Loyalty Fund and Humboldt Parents & Family Fund donors, Humboldt Loyalty Grants are available again this year to support important programs across campus. The University estimates there will be funding available for 6-8 projects in the 2016/2017 academic year, with up to $20,000 available per project.

The donor rankings from Donor Voice are compiled and submitted to the Deans and Vice Presidents. Deans and Vice Presidents consider the input from donors along with their own recommendations. They then submit a final ranking of projects to President Rossbacher who makes funding allocations by the end of April.

Guidelines for project proposals are below. Proposals will be accepted by Deans and Vice Presidents through February 1st 2017 and a decision on funding will be made by the end of the Spring Semester.

New this year: We will be trying a new crowdfunding approach. We will choose 1-3 of the projects and market these projects directly to donors for funding. This will rely on project leaders commitment to participate in the fundraising process as well as potentially working directly with donors.
