Apple has released the MacOS High Sierra operating system update to plug the recently uncovered Meltdown and Spectre vulnerabilities. ITS has made this update available to all campus Mac users via the Self Service app and strongly recommends users download and install this update as soon as possible. Be aware that the update will take a while to install, as it will update to a new file system on SSD (Solid State Drive)-based hardware.
