ITS PROJECT OFFICE STAFF AND SERVICE CHANGES

August 29, 2016

ITS Project Office Process Improvement Manager Josh Smith is moving to the Office of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE) as part of that office’s evolution from the Office of Institutional Research and Planning.

In his new assignment as the OIE Change Management Coordinator, Josh’s skills can be leveraged to greater institutional benefit, contributing to the mission of the OIE and its work in the following areas:

  • Campus Strategic Plan implementation
  • Re-affirmation of HSU’s WASC accreditation
  • CSU Graduation Initiative 2025
  • Integrated strategic budgeting
  • Continuous improvement.

Consequently, the ITS Project Office is making some changes to their service offerings to align with these institutional priorities. Effective September 1, 2016, business process improvement services will only be offered as a component of a technology project, not as standalone projects; current process improvement projects will be completed as scheduled.

The ITS Project Office’s commitment to campus success continues through the effective management of projects involving the use of new or changing technology in support of campus priorities.

If you have any concerns about process improvement initiatives moving forward, please contact Melinda Haynes Swank at x5204.
