My research investigated the effect of canopy cover on egg hatch success and tadpole survivorship for several populations of northern red-legged frogs. I evaluated whether this effect differed between populations, and if the differences were due to differences in temperature at the breeding sites. I then determined if canopy cover effects on tadpole survivorship translated into meaningful impacts on population growth rates.
