Dear friends --

I write to share with you the sad news of the passing of Dennis Rose, who had worked on campus since 2010. Dennis died at his home, with family, on Saturday, August 9.

Dennis was a Facilities Maintenance Mechanic in the Department of Housing + Dining. His colleagues have shared that he was an amazing person and that everyone enjoyed working with him. He will certainly be missed by many.

On behalf of the campus community, I would like to express our deepest condolences to Dennis’ family, friends, and colleagues. Those who knew and cared about Dennis are in our thoughts.

Staff or faculty in need of additional support at this time may utilize the Employee Assistance Program, which can be reached at 443-7358. If you know students in need of additional support, please refer them to the Counseling Center on campus at 826-3236.

Services are scheduled for 11 a.m., Saturday, August 16 at the Wharfinger Building in Eureka.
