The HSU Department of Mathematics has invited distinguished guest speaker Dr. Erica Flapan, Professor of Mathematics at Pomona College and Fellow of the American Mathematical Society to present two talks the on Thursday, December 1st.

As part of the weekly F'16 Mathematics Colloquium Series, Dr. Flapan's first talk is titled: Intrinsic Properties of Graphs Embedded in R3. It will take place in the BSSB - Rm 166 beginning at 4 pm.

As part of the 68th Harry S. Kieval Lecture, the title of the evening presentation is: Mirror Image Symemetry from Different Viewpoints. This talk is scheduled to begin at 7:30 pm in Founders Hall - Rm 118.
