Microsoft announces security issue with Internet Explorer

April 28, 2014

If you currently use Internet Explorer as your primary browser, ITS recommends you use a different browser until Microsoft makes a fix available for the newly discovered security vulnerability. An attacker could host a specially crafted website that is designed to exploit this vulnerability through Internet Explorer, so it is currently even more risky than usual to click on a link to a website from within an email or other communication.

Microsoft is currently investigating the vulnerability and will make a fix available as soon as possible.
