More on the Move to Windows 10 and Office 2016

November 15, 2016

Last month, we let you know that the pilot deployment of Windows 10 and Office 2016 would be to BSS 317, HGH 115, SH 118, and SH 119. We're now extending the pilot to include Science A 364.

As a reminder, if you will be teaching in any of these rooms, you are encouraged to run your lesson plans against the upgraded software. You can do this in any of the following ways:

  • Schedule time in Library 121 by emailing Cheryl Conner in the Library.
  • Visit the open labs in Library 101 or Library 122 during Library open hours
  • Contact David Marshall for information on how to test the laboratory software remotely from your office computer

For any faculty who would like to have Windows 10 and Office 2016 installed on their office computers to help with testing lesson plans, please submit a helpdesk ticket at www.humboldt.edu/tech-help. Someone from ITS will be assigned to help with the upgrade.

If you have questions or concerns about the compatibility of specific software or hardware, please contact David Marshall at david.marshall@humboldt.edu or Cade Webb at a.cade.webb@humboldt.edu.
