The HSU Office of Alumni & Engagement is now accepting nominations for the prestigious Distinguished Alumni awards, which will be presented at the annual Honors Dinner in April. 

Nominations are due January 13, 2017.

Humboldt State University began formally recognizing the outstanding achievements, creativity, and endeavors of our alumni in 1960. Past HSU Distinguished Alumni have often been prominent leaders in their career fields. They have made significant contributions to the University, their professions, and their communities.

Last year's receipients included Greg Beck, '94, Piet deVries, ’93, Heather Hostler, ’12, Phillip C. Humphreys, ’91, and Burt Nordstrom, ’75.  Click here for a full list of previous Distinguished Alumni. Nominations may be made by any member of the HSU community.

Criteria and forms for the 2016-17 Distinguished Alumni awards may be found at the Forever Humboldt Recognition page. 

All nominations must be received in the HSU Office of Alumni & Engagement no later than 
January 13, 2017. Nominations may be submitted by mail, email, in person or fax.
