Publishing Platform Evaluation BePress

December 3, 2014

We have a guest visiting campus next week, Monday, December 8th.

Irene Kamotsky, Ph.D., Director of Strategic Initiatives, from Bepress will visit and present two platforms we are interested in evaluating, if interested, we welcome faculty, staff, and students to join us and hear your feedback. Please share with colleagues.

Digital Commons is a robust publishing platform used by faculty, students, and libraries to publish books, journals, image and data repositories. This system supports multiple peer review methods, and open access publishing. We are considering this as a platform to support publishing open textbooks, student research and creative journals, digital projects, and other works.

Selected Works is a faculty research profile system used by faculty and researchers to showcase their works, and is often used by institutions to showcase departments and the University.
