Request for Proposals: Spring 15 Faculty Learning Community on Educational Technologies

Dear Faculty,

The College of eLearning and Extended Education is seeking brief proposals from faculty interested in being part of the Spring 2015 Faculty Learning Community on Educational Technologies.

The goal is to create a fun and safe environment in which faculty can collaboratively explore, apply and share technologies and pedagogies to enhance student learning.

Faculty Incentives

  • Supports the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (inquiry/exploration into student learning, application, peer review, reflection, and presentation of findings)

  • Multi-disciplinary exploration and collaboration

  • Free Technology tool

  • Handbook of Lessons Using Educational Technologies

  • Free snacks!

  • Letter for faculty file

Commitment:

  • 5 face-to-face, 1-hour sessions (March and April)

  • Create, implement, and share a lesson using educational technology during Spring 15

  • Share lesson and outcomes during professional development event Fall 15 (as group or as individual)
