Twenty-Two Lumberjacks Named to CCAA Spring All-Academic List

ARCATA, Calif. – Twenty-two Humboldt State student-athletes were named to the 2018 California Collegiate Athletic Association Spring All-Academic Team which was released Monday by the conference office.

The 22 Lumberjacks join a total of 348 men and women from across the CCAA's 13 member institutions who have been honored for their efforts in the classroom. To qualify for CCAA Spring All-Academic recognition you must be of sophomore athletic standing or higher and have a 3.3 cumulative GPA or better while competing in a conference-sponsored sport in that season.

Nikaela Hemminger and Annie Roberts from women's track & field are four-time CCAA Spring All-Academic honorees, while Kelly Sonnemann and Winona Vigil of softball and Catie LeDesma of women's track & field are three-time award winners.

Corey Berner and Dylan Roberts of men's track & field join Lily Bankas and Caitlin McCoy of women's track and field as two-time selections.
