[Updated] OBI myReports comes to myHumboldt March 9

On Monday, March 9, OBI myReports will arrive on myHumboldt. Users and authors across campus will also see a new version of the software with some powerful new features. 

Starting the morning of Friday March 6th, you’ll see a new pagelet on myHumboldt. That’s the date OBI myReports users will be able to access the software directly through a dedicated myHumboldt pagelet at a new login URL. Along with this new access comes an upgrade to the OBI software, which will bring some exciting new features and functions for authors and users alike.

What’s new for authors?

· Rename individual views

· Freeze headers – no more toggling

· Graphical enhancements, including waterfall graphs and stacked charts

What’s new for users?

· Freeze headers – no more toggling

· Support for direct export to Excel and PowerPoint

· Export entire dashboards to Excel (tabs->worksheets)

Plus a whole lot more that will ensure the software is more stable and make both report creation and use more flexible, more intuitive, and more effective. 

Remember, if you don’t plan to log into OBI from myHumboldt, you’ll need to update your bookmarked login URL to http://obi.humboldt.edu starting March 6,

The Data Warehouse team will be conducting training sessions to introduce the new features, so watch your email for an invitation. Training materials will also be posted to the OBI myReports website concurrently with the roll-out.

Please note that, to ensure a smooth transition to the new version, OBI will be unavailable from 9 p.m. on Thursday, March 5 until 7a.m. Friday, March 6.
