Wildlife Ecology Seminar Series ~ December 3

November 30, 2015

Hi All,I hope that everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving holiday!

We will be holding our last EcoSeries for the semester this week (Thursday December 3rd @ 4PM, WFB 258). We are pleased to be hosting Ted Weller from the the U.S. Forest Service's Pacific Southwest Research Station. He will be presenting "Understanding Bat Migration from the Humboldt Redwoods to North America." See the attached flyer for more details.

Next week (Wednesday December 9th) the wildlife department will be holding its senior poster session. Graduating wildlife majors will be presenting posters on their senior projects and honor's theses. The poster session will be from 3-5 PM in the Kate Buchanan Room on campus. Come out and see all the great work our wildlife students have been doing. Refreshments will be provided.

It has been a pleasure to help organize the Wildlife Department's EcoSeries this Fall. The presentations have been fantastic and I thank all of our speakers! We have some great talks lined up for the Spring semester and we will get that schedule out as soon as we have all of our speakers and dates confirmed.

Lastly, I would like to give tremendous thanks to fellow wildlife grad student and WiGSS vice president Cara Appel. Cara has been putting together the flyers for the talks this semester, and has done an outstanding job!

Hope to see you all there,

Ryan
