Hi All,

For EcoSeries this week (Thursday November 5th @ 4PM, WFB 258) we will have HSU Wildlife lecturer and U.C. Berkeley Ph.D. candidate Laurie Hall, present part of her dissertation research, "Linked Landscapes: Metapopulation Connectivity of Secretive Wetland Birds."

For next week  (Thursday, November 12th), we have another (and hopefully our final) schedule change of the semester. We did have a closed grad student session scheduled, but instead HSU Wildlife Master's candidate Derek Harvey will be publicly defending his thesis research, "Innovative Problem Solving in Wild Steller's Jays." It is some great work and hopefully everyone will have a chance to come see it.
