The Cal Poly Humboldt Police Department's Communications Center is staffed 24 hours a day by an Emergency Communications Dispatcher. It is the job of the dispatcher to answer incoming emergency and non-emergency telephone calls, operate a multi-channel radio system, and perform records and warrant checks.
