SUBJECT:               Transfer of EAP and PIQE from OAA to EMSA

Effective November 1, 2013, the Early Assessment Program will transfer from the College of Professional Studies to Enrollment Management to allow more efficient staffing and to better coordinate outreach and support services provided to service area high schools required to improve college readiness. 
 
Effective July 1, 2014, the Parent Institute for Quality Education will transfer from the College of Professional Studies to Enrollment Management to allow more efficient staffing and to better coordinate outreach and support services provided to strengthen parental involvement and engagement in schools.
 
This streamlining will minimize unnecessary redundancy in staffing and better coordination of services and use of resources while furthering students’ college readiness and parental engagement in their neighborhood schools.  Please ensure relevant budgets, documents, messages, websites, etc., reflect the reorganization of these programs.
