RESOLVED: That the University Senate of Humboldt State University recommends the attached revisions to Appendix U, “Statement of Professional Responsibility” (HSU Faculty Handbook) be forwarded to the General Faculty for ratification or rejection; and be it further
RESOLVED: That the University Resources and Planning Committee (URPC) recommends to the University Senate the attached changes to Section 2.4 of the Bylaws and Rules of Procedure of the University Senate.

The President’s Office should be informed as soon as possible when a current employee or student dies. If the deceased is an active employee, the President’s Office shall contact the appropriate divisional Vice President. Following this initial notification, the following contacts should be made.
