Phyllis (Brant) Helligas (1967) retired as Personnel Officer for the City of Sunnyvale, CA, and has since worked as Interim Director of Human Resources for a number of California cities. She received a master’s degree in Public Administration from UC Berkeley.
Mark R. Keller (1968) Project Manager Group with Hill International. He previously served as Western Regional Design-Build Manager for CH2M Hill.
Larry Miller (1969) recently began a new job as the chief academic officer for Snead State Community College. Miller moved to Snead State from his position as lead organizational development specialist at Erlanger Health System in Chattanooga, Tenn. He worked at Chattanooga State Technical Community College for eight years as vice president for institutional advancement. His career in education also includes serving as a director of continuing education at the University of Tennessee’s College of Medicine in Chattanooga and campus president for American InterContinental University in Washington, D.C.
Dwight Nelsen (1969) is an administrative law judge and lives in Walnut Creek , CA. He earned a law degree from Hastings College of the Law.
Jeffrey Spencer Wright (1969) teaches philosophy, psychology, and health at Carmel High School in Carmel, California. He received an MALA from St. John’s College, Santa Fe, New Mexico in their “Great Books” curriculum in 1994.
Ross Stromberg (1962) is a partner in Jones Day Law Firm, San Francisco, where he was head of national health care practice for 12 years. He and his wife Gillian own and operate Stromberg Vineyards in Healdsburg. He also chairs Sutter Medical Center in Santa Rosa, and the Pediatric Dental Initiative in Windsor, which provides dental surgery services to indigent children and the developmentally disabled. He earned his J.D. from Boalt Hall School of Law, UC-Berkeley.
Michael J. Viera (1968) recently retired as president of Citrus College in Glendora, CA. He earned his Ph.D. in political science from UC-Riverside.
