California Social Work Hall of Distinction - Ken Nakamura, Professor Emeriti, Humboldt Department of Social Work

On October 21, 2017, Ken Kaoru Nakamura was recognized for his commitment to the betterment of society and extraordinary leadership in the field of social work.  Ken Nakamura, Professor Emeriti, Humboldt Department of Social Work, is currently the Project Coordinator and Field Coordinator of San Diego State’s School of Social Work Title IV-E Program.

Pamela Brown – Professor Emerita, Humboldt Department of Social Work, introduced Shaunna Oteka McCovey's and her poem to honor Ken Nakamura at the ceremony.
