Sheri Johnson's area of practice has been in family violence education and domestic violence intervention and prevention. Sheri has extensive practice
experience in the field of domestic violence and was involved in both private, non-profit organizations and in public health.
Her community involvement includes founding board member for the Humboldt County Domestic Violence Coordinating Council (currently serving as Chair);
past Chair of the Whole Child Interagency Council, past co-chair of the Child Abuse Prevention Coordinating Council, and for the past 18 years, co-host of
K-HUM Stop the Violence ~ Start the Healing radio annual violence prevention education campaign. She is also on the advisory committee for the KHUM Stop
the Violence Fund. Sheri participates as a co-facilitator in domestic violence training for criminal justice, tribal, and community organizations.
