I have been working in the Department of Social Work since 2010. I enjoy working alongside our wonderful faculty and staff and I take great pleasure in supporting our students in what ever way I can.

I was born and raised in Arcata and graduated from Cal Poly Humboldt and CSU, Fullerton. My background is in art history and museum studies and I worked at various museums in Southern California before relocating back to Arcata 8 years ago. My husband and I  keep busy raising our 3 wonderful daughters. I make time to take care of myself by exercising and my goal is still to run in a marathon one day!
