2006 Greenhouse Gas Emissions Audit at Humboldt State University

Abstract: 
Project looks at the issue of global climate change and its connection with selected greenhouse gases. Includes compilation of vehicle, travel, solid waste and energy usage invoices for Humboldt State University during the year of 2006 and student generated conversion equations which give estimates of corresponding greenhouse gas emissions. Gases analyzed include carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, hydrofluorocarbons, perfluorocarbons and sulfur hexafluoride. Includes a 2005 parking and mobility study for Humboldt State University conducted by Wilbur Smith Associates.
Problem Statement: 
Conduct audit of HSU greenhouse gas emissions for the year of 2006.
