Searching For A Job

Searching for a job can be a tedious process especially given the current shift to virual work in the job market today. Scams are common when looking at remote jobs. Job boards, such as Craigslist, can be filled with unmanicured jobs. Attention to detail is key. Be wary of words like: "Work from home". Federal Work Study

Federal Work-Study (PDF) is a financial aid program that helps students find jobs to meet college expenses. These jobs may help students gain career-related work experience or perform work that benefits the local community. Check out our great handout for detailed information on how to find on and off campus work-study jobs (PDF).
