Humboldt State University’s Nursing and Social Work programs are embarking on a cutting-edge partnership. A new two-year certificate program will offer Humboldt State University Social Work and Nursing students the opportunity to supplement their education with training and clinical hours focused on community health.
Humboldt State University’s new Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Science in Nursing program (RN to BSN) received the green light from WASC Senior College & University Commission, the University’s regional accrediting body. HSU is now working on enrolling students and the first cohort of the program is on track to start in Fall 2020.
Humboldt State has been recognized as one of the top performers in the 2017 Sustainable Campus Index, which is a publication for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE).
The Index incorporates a comprehensive rating system called STARS (Sustainability Tracking, Assessment, and Rating Systems) to measure the environmental, social, and economic sustainability of top-performing Universities across the nation.
