Agenda Topics and Meeting Summary

1.0 SWOT Analysis

  • Distributed 11 stars to each voting member to indicate the two highest priorities in each SWOT category. Remaining three stars used to identify additional priorities or boost votes for chosen priorities. 
  • Tallied results will be distributed in priority order to the team by the end of the week. 

2.0 Review of what’s in the data warehouse

  • Reviewed transactional based systems that OBI currently extracts data from and those that are planned for future development. 
  • Brainstormed additional systems for future development including Early Alert, position database, SFTP, Student Data Repository, SCO compliance tables, CO and HSU training via LMS, University Center (see attached DRAFT diagram).

3.0 Survey Results – comments on the OBI and PeopleSoft questions 

  • Received results for review prior to next meeting. These confidential results should not be shared with anyone outside of this team. 
    • Think about what themes can be derived from the results, for example shadow systems. 
    • Compare priorities identified in SWOT analysis with the analytic survey results.
  • Web and ODD questions and answers will be compiled and distributed by John Filce. 

4.0 Next meeting

  • HR review of strategies for constructive team dialog
  • Review SWOT and survey results and develop into action items
