DARS is an acronym for the Degree Audit Reporting System. At its most basic, DARS is a highly automated system that helps students and advisors track progress towards the completion of a degree.

The myReports DARS dashboards in OBI gather millions of rows of data from our weekly (Friday night) DARS batch runs; each run involves records for all active students and updates the data to render it presentable in a more useful format for further analysis and reporting. This process enables colleges and departments to monitor trends, find targeted groups of students who need more advising, evaluate all advisors and advisees at a glance, and help determine potential future course demand.

If you currently have access to OBI, go ahead and log in here.

If you do not yet have access to the reports you need, you'll need to complete an Access Request Form and have your manager forward it to arf@help.humboldt.edu.

Once access has been authorized and you've completed the required online training, you can log into OBI with your HSU User Name and Password.
