Smart Classrooms :: Student Use Policy

Smart Classrooms are equipped with instructional technology by Technology Equipment Checkout. Academic Affairs funds these services for the purpose of supporting HSU faculty in their classroom instruction. Periodically, faculty may require students to use this technology to complete required coursework. Students may do so if they meet the following criteria:

  • Student is assigned work requiring use of Smart Classroom technology
  • Student use is for FTES generating coursework
  • Student has no history of Student Use Procedures misuse

Procedure for Student Access to Smart Classroom Technology

Students needing to use Smart Classroom technology must arrange for and complete orientation/training for appropriate use of that technology at least 48 hours prior to Smart Classroom use; group orientations are also available.

Smart Classroom policy and procedures must be followed at all times.
