Network Folders - Access your files from anywhere you have an Internet connection.
OBI - search, analyze, and report on information stored in the PeopleSoft Finance and Human Resources databases on a one-off or repeating schedule.
Passwords - Your HSU Password is the key to protecting the data you have access to (including your email and all protected information, including confidential records). Follow these guidelines to choose a strong password.
Policy Documents - It's a good idea to familiarize yourself with HSU's policies for responsible computing, web development, and conditions of use for University computing equipment.
Virus Protection - Computers can easily become infected with viruses and other malware simply by connecting to the Internet as well as by the more traditional means of sharing files, using removable media or drives, or over email. HSU-owned computers are protected and kept up-to-date automatically; if you want to connect a personally owned computer to HSU wired or wireless networks, that computer must be protected using one of the HSU-recommended antivirus programs.
