Your Courses at Humboldt State

A huge advantage to being in the Klamath Connection is that in the fall semester we will automatically enroll you in all the courses you need. These classes will satisfy major and general education (GE) requirements, and you will be guaranteed a spot.

In addition to core science courses you will need for your major, you will be placed in a course called Science 100: Becoming a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Professional in the 21st Century. This course is a GE requirement and will count towards your degree as well as prepare you for the student side to your major and professional side of your career.

This course has activities and assignments designed to support you as a new HSU science student. For example, you'll learn effective study skills and use a variety of campus resources that will help you thrive socially and academically.
