Student Research Competition

Cal Poly Humboldt Human Performance Lab Personnel, Dennis Hernandez (right)'s submission has been chosen to represent Cal Poly Humboldt in the statewide competition on April 28 and 29. Also, Gil Spitz (left) and Anna Welch (University of New Mexico Exercise Science Doctoral program) presented their topics at the CSU Bakersfield, April 29th and 30th, 2016.

The 31st Annual California State University Student Research Competition will be held on April 28-29, 2017, at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. This system-wide competition will showcase excellent research conducted by CSU undergraduate and graduate students in the full range of academic programs offered by the CSU. Student participants will make oral presentations before juries of professional experts from major corporations, foundations, public agencies, colleges and universities in California.

The competition is held to promote excellence in undergraduate and graduate scholarly research and creative activity by recognizing outstanding student accomplishments throughout the twenty-three campuses of the California State University.
