The HSU Natural History Museum is located in the Figuerido's Building at 1242 G Street in Arcata, California (across from Wilberries supermarket). Arcata is in Northern California, 300 miles north of San Francisco along Highway 101.

Hours: Tuesday-Saturday 10am-5pm

Directions From Highway 101 North: Take the 14th St. exit and turn left. Turn left on F St (one way), left on 12th for one block and we are located on G St. (one way) across from Wildberries supermarket.

Directions From Highway 101 South: Take the Sunset Ave. exit. Proceed straight onto F St. until 12th St. Turn left on 12th for one block. We are located on G. St.


About the Area

Humboldt County is the home of such notable sites as Redwood National and State Parks and Humboldt State University. The Arcata Marsh and several beaches along the rugged Pacific Ocean are within a few short miles of the museum. Go to the Get Outside link for more information.
