Greetings,

I am pleased to announce the results of the recent search for a permanent Business Services Manager for Facilities Support Services, but first I want to recognize Pat Comella for her hard work and commitment to Facilities Management as the interim Business Services Manager over the past two years.  Pat helped Facilities Management through some difficult transitions with patience, a listening ear, and grace.

I would also like to thank the members of the selection committee for the thoughtful and thorough process they employed throughout this recruitment.

It was a difficult decision as both finalists brought different but valuable skillsets to the table.  Marc McGowan has accepted the position of Business Services Manager and will begin on Thursday, February 14.  Marc has served as a temporary administrative analyst in Facilities over the past several months, but brings supervisory and managerial experience with him from prior work experience.

On February 14, Pat will return to her role as financial analyst within Facilities Support Services and will continue in her role as a critical member of the Facilities Management Leadership Team.
