Program Overview

Sociology, Criminology & Justice Studies, and Cannabis Studies majors have excellent core programs that provide an integrated approach towards addressing issues of inequality, environment and community on the sociology side, as well as inequality, law, social policy and action in the CJS curriculum. All three majors stress research skills.

“Seriously (majoring in Sociology), it was like I was putting on sociological glasses to view how social structures and norms are created, accepted and reinforced, how they are challenged and how they change over space and time.”
