The Humboldt State University Testing Center is an important resource for the University and for Humboldt County and its surrounding communities. The Testing Center administers campus-specific exams, CSU system-wide tests, and national standardized tests to current and prospective students.
Testing accommodations are provided for students registered with HSU’s Student Disability Resource Center (SDRC). Some of the testing accommodations available to students registered with the SDRC include readers and scribes, computer-assisted and computer-adaptive software, and wheelchair-accessible and adjustable tables.
Make-Up Exam services are also provided by the Testing Center. Students, with their instructor’s permission, can schedule appointments to take missed classroom exams, exams with class conflicts, or exams for distance education courses.
For a fee, the Testing Center also provides Proctoring Services for anyone needing to take a Correspondence Exam for another university, college or agency.
Testing Manual - The Testing Users' Manual is a guide to the procedures and behaviors an individual needs to follow in order to take an exam at the Testing Center. The manual also contains the Request for Proctoring Services.
Testing News - The Testing News is the place to find out what is happening at the testing center for any given day of any given month.
The Testing Center is located in the Learning Commons, Library Basement (Room 24)
