The Armchair Traveler series of workshops will introduce participants to exciting places to travel by hearing from our own staff, faculty and administrators who have been there. In the month of May, we will hear from Melissa Meiris about her travels in Mongolia. In spring of 2010, Melissa received a scholarship to travel to Mongolia, where she visited a school, worked with teachers on environmental education curriculum for their classrooms, got to know a small town community, and explored a national park by foot and horseback. Come learn about the culture, the people, the food, the scenery and more.
